The epitome of the drop-dead gorgeous femme fatale, Veronica jump-started the peekaboo hairstyle trend in the 1940’s when a flyaway strand fell in front of one eye during a publicity shoot. The 4’11” stunner worked frequently with movie star Alan Ladd in movies like The Blue Dahlia, which Universal Studios remade in 2006 with Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson.
