Few designers embrace fashion like the Rodarte girls do. If the sisters’ dedication to the art form was ever in question, any reservations were put aside after their show. Dresses defying definition are fashioned out of umber chiffon, raw-edge silk, filmy knits, and lace. The collection’s dainty romance is tempered by tough accents including studded heels and fingerless gloves, which results in the kind of potent look more often found on European runways.
