This season, you don’t have to earn your stripes—you can waltz into your favorite department store or boutique and buy them! Cute, sporty, and quite affordable, striped tops are one of spring’s hottest trends. Whether tank, rugby, or long-sleeved, this trendy-without-being-trendy look is casual enough for the beach but can be dressed up for evening (see Cameron Diaz.) These are the perfect shirts to pair with funky accessories like thick, link chains or anchor necklaces. Add some extra-spice with bold, colorful earrings or super-skinny jeans. And ignore the old wives tale that stripes aren’t flattering. Don’t be scared to throw some on with a cute, cropped jacket or fun, stylish scarf.
